I'm brewing a big pot of coffee..

..cause this scrappymama has 3 books that need to be read and reviewed ASAP!
I received Wild at Heart last week, and the other two today..and i know that i have a baby product that will be here any day now in need of reviewing...WOWZA.
So if i go MIA, then you know i'm likely out enjoying the sun in the chairs pictured below(that i got today for FREE off kijiji!)..Hot pink and Teal! Gotta love it! :D

Bye Bye Birdies! Welcome Zelda!

Today was an eventful day in our house.
I finally sent the noisy birds off to their forever home, with a nice older couple who have a bit of an aviary going on in their house.
Here is a pic of them that i took for the ad...


And here is our newest addition..Zelda the Lionhead Rabbit! :D
She is the sweetest thing ever! She's a houserabbit who absolutely LOVES hopping around and being loved.
We got her from a family that couldn't care for her anymore(the mama was pregnant...)and we're so glad to have her!

another photo heavy day

I apologize it's another photo heavy day. and literally all from one day!
I'm just trying to get back to posting at least every other day. I'm also trying to exercise my brain and learn to write better. Practise makes perfect right?
Anywho, so here is a peek into the life of scrappy.

It was a gorgeous sunny day and MrScrappy asked me to do a little photoshoot of his beloved man toy, as he needs to sell her...we technically only have one parking spot at the new place and well, have 3 vehicles...so something has to go..and we all know it ain't gonna be my vanbraghini!


Then later i caught a sweet little pic of MrScrappy wearing an apron and cooking up my Southwest chicken, be glad i didn't post the pic with the come-hither eyes..you'd all be swooning at the keyboard i tell ya! :D


And just so ya know, I didn't leave all the cooking to him, i was told to "make cookies woman!". lol. So here is a pic of my sweet little apron and my toes..


And we all know that cooking is NEVER complete without some form of alcohic beverage, generally it's a glass of wine, but today it was bailey's n cream on the rocks. nom nom nom.


And OH! i thought that i should include a pic of my baby in action..she's so lovely. she's so powerful. i wish she was colourful! but a girl can't complain when she only paid $75 off kijiji for her!(she's making me some Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies here). And ohhhhh they are divine!


Then last night we went to the park, and i shot this strange little pic of the eldest scrappy being a noodle and standing on the teetertotter.



And last but not least, here is a little pic i like to call.."duck, duck, GOOSE!"

Photo Catch-Up

Yes, i know i have been slacking..bad scrappy! lol.
But in my defense i have had a LOT going on(insane headaches, seeing and accepting the new place, new clients for my work, balancing family and extra-curriculars, etc etc)...

My Future...

We FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY heard back today...and we're moving!!
It's what we have been waiting and praying for. It's a 3bdr townhouse in the PERFECT neighbourhood. The girls will finally be going to a GREAT school. It's education has the top ratings in our city, which is something that the girls are in such dire need of. They are smart little cookies that just aren't getting enough stimulation in their current school.
So now we just need to go on Friday to view the available units and figure out more details.

(sorry about the lack of postings...my headaches got REALLY bad and it turns out that it wasn't actually headaches but VERY high bloodpressure due to a medication...so i've had a headache for over a week now while the medication SLOWLY gets out of my system)

Another Review for Booksneeze

I reviewed Word of Promise Next Generation: How Should a Christian Live?, free thanks to Booksneeze.com in exchange for my unbiased review.

First let me start by saying that this wonderful book is meant for tweens and teens, but as a 30yr old new Christian I am finding it to be just the book that i needed in this journey of finding God. It's writing is easy to read and the way that it's expained makes it easy to grasp and retain.
The introduction in the book is a very informative section that guides you on how to be a Christian, and has a certificate page for you to record the date you became born again in God.
The 171 page book is broken down into 12 sessions(ie. "Have Faith and Know", "Learn God's Truth", "Live in His Love") that start out by asking you listen to a portion of scripture(1 Corinthians through Philemon) from the accompanying 6 hr MP3 cd(that is voiced by teen talents like Jordin Sparks, Corbin Bleu, Emily Osment, etc) and then reading the corresponding text. Within the chapters are various wordsearches, articles, coded messages, crosswords, to help you retain what you have learned, and when you reach the end of each chapter there are a few pages for you to journal on or take notes on what you have just learned. This book is very encouraging and helpful in helping you to "Get-It", "Grab-It", "Hold-It", "Give-It", and "Define-It".
This book is 3rd in a series. Other books include "Who Is Jesus?", "What is Salvation?", and "Why Should I Choose Jesus".

Easter Weekend Catch-Up!

Well, it was a fun and busy long weekend..here is the photo catch-up!

Awww...cute shell shot...saw this on the beach, had to take a pic...there was an older couple who were looking at what i was taking a picture of and i swear when we walked away they took the shell heart! Booo. I knew i should have taken it! lol.
