Gardening has never been a love of mine. I've always TRIED to like it and get into it, but i think having been forced to help in my moms when i was younger is what kills it for me.
Anywho, so here's what i've accomplished while trying to enjoy gardening..
The front garden has always been 'ok', so i added 5 more perennials to it today:
This little side garden has always been a pain in my arse, i love it, and it gets great sun, but it's full of nasty ants(i believe due to the peony), oh and i try to avoid gardening in it because i don't want to scare 'Chippy' from his home(a chipmunk lives under our porch)..here's the before shot:
And now for the AFTER shot..it took about 1/2 hr and now all it needs is some pretty mulch! (and Chippy doesn't seem to be scared off, so yay!) :)
And now just because, i'm going to share a close-up from my Fuschia hanging basket. Fuschia's are absolutely my FAVOURITE plant for hanging baskets, and when i went out to buy one this morning, i found this uniquue one! (the flowers normally emerg from a 'ball', but this one is a weird longer shape..love it!)
What do you think? Any advice?

I think it looks great! :) I hate gardening, lol! Once we get in our house, I'm going to have my mom come and do my garden, she loves it! :)

I don't enjoy gardening either. Too much effort for little gain! And then you go away for a long weekend and half your seedlings have died off. Not that that's ever happened to me. ;) Your after shot looks good!
Good luck on the garden! I still have not had a very successful one and this will be my 3rd year of trying. It's a shame, really. :(
Following you from the Monday hop! Stop back by if you can: www.dorothymcfadden.blogspot.com
My mom does the gardening around here and I enjoy it! Today we got some solar path lights for $2 each at Target and put them in a bed she made lining the fence and it is amazing!
