Mmm..nothing like a good round of baking to cheer a girl up...until you realize that what you made is sooooo bad for you!! Woah sugar and butter Batman!
I was looking around on Pinterest today (yeah, i know, what's new?!) when i found THESE:
(pic removed)
Now for my version...
Mine? definitely not as pretty! lol. (note to self: learn to photograph food)
What went wrong? well i don't think that i 'browned' the butter properly. I also totally didn't listen to directions when it said to let them cool completely before removing them from the pan..oops! my bad!
I also used Easter M&M's...in FEBRUARY!...from LAST Easter! (no, i'm not tryin to kill anyone)
BUT they totally taste yummy! and it got me off my butt. oh! and PLEASE do NOT calculate the 'nutritional value' and tell me, because me and big ol' bum do NOT want to know! ;)

well I think they look delicious :)
Those look delish, both pics! I have to learn Food Photography too, that is definitely something on my to do list once I get a better camera. (One Day!)
I've made pumpkin chocolate chip blondies before, they turned out awesome and were all eaten up in a day, lol, I'll have to try M&Ms next time, I'm sure my kiddos would love that!
look delish! I'm going to check out that recipe!
ooh! that sounds good!
I am so glad for Pinterest! It's really making me step up a bit and branch out with my cooking/baking/crafting! <3
You're cute Christy! Maybe yours don't look as pretty but who cares cause sugar + butter = good! Speaking of Pinterest, on my Hobbies board I have a lib for a post on photographing food tips. Check it out cause it is quite helpful. Also I'm dying to get better at food photography too! We should research & see if there are any classes around the city & sign up together!
aww! I'd LOVE to take a class with you Kel! Now i'm off to go check you out on Pinterest! :)
Your blog is not good for my butt!! These sound amazing:)
I've saved some yummy recipes from Pinterest too. I haven't tried any yet though. I also would like to learn how to photograph food (although having a good qualtiy camera would be the first step...) Yum!
Thanks for the recipe! I have a tonne of M&M's to use up so this recipe is perfect!
There's a reason staging food for photography is a profession! :) The cooling in the pan helps BUT I've also started using parchment paper. I've only got one brownie pan so if I'm doing more than one batch, the parchment paper allows me to yank one batch and cool while I put the second in. It also means easy clean up, easy to store (fold and refrigerate)
