Today i took a ME day. I vegged and read The Hunger Games book today, and then when the mr got home from work we headed off to the drive-in to see the movie!
( and here's where i admit that someone wise told me 'no no just go see the movie, don't read the book first'...she was totally right. I loved the movie, don't get me wrong, but wow they left a bunch of stuff out of the movie that i considered 'important' or really interesting in regards to the movie...le sigh. )
OH! and incase you're like 'wait, what's up with the pickle?!'..it's a chilly dilly! :)

I haven't seen the movie yet but I LOVED the books :)
This is SO true! The movie is NEVER going to be as good, so always watch it first. That way the movie can blow you away with its awesomeness and then later when you read the book after, it can ALSO blow you away with its awesomeness! :)
I think I am the only one on the planet who has not read the book or seen the movie or not sure that i actually want too (gasp)...
I prefer reading books before seeing the movie. I have not read the Hunger Games and actually don't think I"d heard of it until this movie came out lol.

Too cool! I love this post :) I have to admit I haven't read the books, but my nieces are dying for me to take them to see the movie. THEY read the book. :)
I really need to get with the program and see what all the fuss is about! Everyone is talking about Hunger Games!
This seems to be all the hype lately. I still haven't even seen a preview yet. I don't even know what this movie is about or have never read the books. But everyone seems to be talking about it
