I was not familiar with the book series this was based on, so i watched with a 'clean slate' so to speak. I did find that it was a bit slow moving, but I still really enjoyed watching it. I found the characters wonderful and 'real', so it really tugged at the heartstrings! I watched this with a girlfriend for movie night, but I think that I'll be sharing it with my daughters. It's a quality family-friendly movie, and think they would really like it.

Hey Christy, I love "Love Comes Softly" series! I have all eight movies so far except this one. I will definitely enter this contest and try to win so I can add this movie to my collection. I have seen some of the other movies and love that they are movies that whole family can enjoy.
I started watching the series on Hallmark channel I think. I loved it! I think I missed one of them. I'm not sure which. But, I did end up trying to get the books from the library after that. I love the series! I would love to win!

Aw! I watched all of these save for the last two (Love's Everlasting Courage and Love Begins). The books have a lot of fond memories for me but apart from the first movie (which was wonderful), I think the latter ones really went down hill. =/
