A lovely friend texted this morning and said 'hey, there's a sale at Starbucks! Let's go!'. It was a bit of a rough morning getting the girls out the door to school, so I sure didn't need to be asked twice. I was most definitely in need of some girlie coffee and knitting time!!
And what better time to do it then during the .25 cent coffee promo! Woohoo!
I'm STILL working on the colourful cowl, it's done in a seed/moss stitch (in a beautiful Rowan wool) and well it's a tad on the tedious side. Ok, it's a TON of tedious-ness!! I feel as though I will never finish it! (but in it's defense I barely work on it, as i feel like i'm going cross-eyed when i do! lol)

How fun! I haven't knitted in a while, maybe 8 years ;)
Very cool! I really wish I knew how to knit...
I love your blog and coffee!!! Your newest follower via blog hop! Please follow back!?
It's beautiful! I have always wished I could learn to knit. Alas, I own needles, yarn, books - but not one completed project. You are so far ahead of me!
I love the colours in the wool :)
A friend of mine and I love to knit at Starbucks also! It's how we grew closer in our friendship and our love of knitting! Rock on knitting comrade!
Wow, you are crafty sister! I love coffee. Seriously 25 cents Wth?? I'm a gonna get me some of that.
That does look tedious. I crochet and working on the same stitch over and over wears me down. I'm sure it will be lovely when you finish it and you'll forget about all the time it took. I found your blog via Welcome Wednesday and am following you now on facebook.

Ooh, that looks so pretty! We have got to have us a knitting party come October! :)
WUUUUUUUUUT!?!?! Did you say 25 cent coffee?!?! Oh, my! Why was I not alerted? LOL!
I love that you knit! I absolutely cannot! I can crochet, but not knit! Can't seem to get the "two needles going at the same time" down! lol
great shots :) Love the knitting!
Oh pretty! I've just started learning how to crochet. I can make a basic stitch dishcloth! I really need to get moving onto the next video!
I like your thinking! Sounds like you had a great morning!
It looks like you are making something lovely. I'm hopping over from Sarah's Wordless Wednesday. Happily following your blog xo
Love the colours in the cowl and that little cinnamon number on the napkin looks very yummy!!
There was much excitement in my office yesterday for that sale. Me, I'm still a Timmie's girl :)
What a great way to spend your time and the perfect place to do it!
I so wish we had a Starbucks that was closer than 30 minutes away! Love your kinit project!
My Mom is going to teach me how to knit this summer. I'm so excited about making things for my little one this fall and winter. Thanks for hosting the blog hop. I am now following you via GFC. Swing by my blog when you get a chance.
