Wordless Wednesday - Turtle Crossing!

The mr and I were out for our morning walk, taking the same path, through a busy park here in town, that we've taken many many times before...only this morning? Look what was at the side of the path!
Not too sure how or why he left the river and hiked up the steep bank, but there he was at the top beside the path. He totally made my morning! :)

My hubby saw a huge turtle on his canoe trip this weekend. I don't think I would really like to see one up close ;)

How cool! I would love to see a turtle up close. There's something about them that intrigues me.

Aww, neat! I had a pet turtle I found at the beach when I was a younger and got to keep for a few weeks; they're so much fun!

We see turtles crossing our highway all the time. We try to move them so they don't get hit by other vehicles, but sometimes it's not the safest thing to do...especially when they try to snap at you!

Turtle! I always think seeing a turtle out and about is good luck.

That's awesome! Red Eared sliders are the best and they get sooo big! I used to have some of these and always loved watching them.
