Litfuse Tour: Inescapable - by Nancy Mehl

About the Book:
Lizzie Engel is used to running away. At eighteen, she left her Mennonite hometown, Kingdom, Kansas, with plans never to return.
But five years later, the new life she built is falling apart. Lizzie knows she's being followed, and she's certain the same mysterious stranger is behind the threatening letters she's received. Realizing she'll have to run again, the only escape Lizzie can manage is a return to the last place she wants to go.
Once she arrives in Kingdom, Lizzie is confident she'll be safe until she comes up with a new plan. In reacquainting herself with the town and its people--especially her old friend, Noah Housler--she wonders if she judged her hometown and her Mennonite faith too harshly. However, just as she begins to come to terms with her roots, Lizzie is horrified to discover the danger she ran from is closer than ever.
No longer sure who to trust and fearful for her life and the lives of those around her, Lizzie finds she has only one place left to run--to the Father whose love is inescapable.

Thoughts from OHM:
I absolutely LOVED this book, it will definitely be a keeper on my bookshelf.  After lending it to a couple friends that is! Gotta say that this book was not my normal genre of read, normally i just like light and fluffy fun...but this romantic suspense was awesome! This 322-page book got gobbled up in just one day! I love that it kept me questioning and re-thinking (playing the who-dunnit game in my head!) and just all around enjoying!! The characters were well written and believable, and easily pictured in my mind while reading. Nancy, if you read this, can i be first on the list to review the next book, Unbreakable?? :)
I'm glad that i was chosen to participate in this book tour, I'll definitely be looking up more of Nancy Mehl's books!! She's quite the writer!

Check out the book's trailer!

Sounds interesting! I'm not usually into Amish fiction, but I do like the occasional suspense novel. :)

I have always been interested in all things Mennonite. I only started reading fictional novels about the Mennonites a few years ago. My mother-in-law lent me "The Shunning" and I was hooked. Thanks for this review. I'll have to pick this up sometime!

Sounds like a fun read...I love all different types of books. Wish I was going to be around for the party, though.

I can't wait to get the chance to read again (only 16 more years until my kids are 18...). Wondering if Watson was named after Sherlock Holmes side kick (or is it the other way round?).

Thanks for sharing, always looking for great books to add to my "to read" list.
