Wordless Wednesday - I'm sewing again! w Linky!

It's been a VERY long time since I have sewed. Like 8 years long. So tonight I finally brought it out and dusted it off and found out that it still works like a charm! :)
My first project? A cute little drawstring bag for my current knitting project!

* see that top right pic? yeah..#FAIL..I managed to sew a good 2 inches of the opening together! lol *

Now it's your turn!
Link up! I wanna see your wordless wednesday!
and please feel free to share with those little social media buttons at the bottom of the post! :)

I haven't sewed since Home Economics in Grade 8. Do they still even teach that? I have big plans for my moms sewing machine at some point though. (hah!)

Aww, that is so cute! The only thing I can sew is pyjama pants but MAN are they comfy! I make pairs every fall to give out as Christmas presents. :)

I really wish I could sew. My oldest daughter can though, she took lessons for a whole school year. I think it was a great investment.

That looks useful! I'm like that with things. I had 2 art projects that just got finished, 5 years later. They just kind of sat there. Now they are done and are hanging in our kitchen.

Awesome bag! I am just now teaching myself to sew. I'm not doing too well though lol. Hopefully I can learn to make cool bags like that myself someday!

That's a fun pattern. I used to sew a lot, including dresses and such, but it's been years. I need to get a machine again.

Great job! It's fun to pull out the sewing machine. Even if I can only sew straight lines.

I made this same bag on my blog months ago. My kids use them a lot!! Easy peasy project to get back into it. Actually how sad that I still have fabric from same project all over living room and dining room. Now going to browse groupon for a cleaning deal! EEp!
