The recipe isn't mine. It can be found here : Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread.
My Notes: I only changed this recipe up a bit. Instead of 15oz of pumpkin I used 2 FULL cups. I love pumpkin! Instead of 1 cup of oil I used 1/2 oil and 1/2 applesauce. Much better! And instead of 3 cups of sugar I likely ended up putting in about 2-ish. Sometimes i don't exactly measure..it was more than 2 but definitely less than 3! ;) OH! and I added about 3/4 cup of chocolate chips (because that was all i had!).
So this recipe says it makes 3 loaves. I don't have 3 loaf pans and didn't want to keep putting them in individually, so I used a bundt and a loaf pan. I baked them for 40 mins, but they could have come out at least 5 mins earlier. Still REALLLLY tasty though! And the kids thought is was DELISH!!
Do you have a favourite pumpkin recipe?? I'd love to know!
and let me know if you try this one! :)

Thank Halloween loaf with the chocolate chips looks amazing! I have never tried chocolate with pumpkin, but chocolate seems to go with everything!

Looks good Christy. I've looked at this recipe before and debated if I should make it - now I will definitely give it a try!
MMMM, this looks absolutely delicious. Nothing like pumpkin and chocolate for me!
Oh my gosh! This looks so good! Bring me some next week when we're at #PGmoms? LOL! It can be our bedtime snack!
Oh, yum! Pumpkin and chocolate...
OK I just made this, with your tweaks, and it only made 2 loaves, so unless my loaf pans are larger then the average pan something is wrong. But I can't wait to try them, they're cooking now :)
This looks so good! I love pumpkin loaf.
