Family, friends, knitting, veggies, and breathing..

I'm not even sure what I should write in this post...I'm starting to feel very censored...But my life has been VERY stressful lately. I thought I had too much on my plate before?? Thursday was one of those days...you know the ones where you get in your car after work and just burst into tears? yeah..that..I made it home, and I immediately said to the mr...'I'm just going to warn you now...I will have a heart attack this weekend, because I just can't take it anymore..there is just too much expectation in my life!" and burst into tears again.

I'm so thankful that Friday was a PD day here..we were able to get away an hours drive to Ikea, and then the fun mall nearby with The Disney Store. I was able to just be with my family and breathe.

And this morning, I was able to escape and join my knitters and fritters crew for some much needed 'me time'. I think it's been over 2 months since I've seen them last! There's babies, a busker playing a great soundtrack for our visit, beautiful show and tells, delish coffee and dutch fritters, great conversations, people stopping to ask us about our stuff, and it's just SOOO nice!

We knit in a coffee roastery in a farmers market, so I was also able to wander and buy some local and not-so-local veggies. And I don't know what it is, but that experience makes me feel so alive and so at peace. It reminds me that I love to cook. It makes me stop and breathe.

And I see the haul I got for $15 and smile. (see that sweet potato? it's almost the size of a FOOTBALL..and it's local...I can't wait to create with that sucker!)

And now? It's time I got back to work immediately...the clock is ticking and deadlines are very near...better grab a cup of 'soothe' tea first and remember to breathe..

Big hugs to you chickee! Glad things were turned around and you felt better in the end.

Gosh, I wish we had such things as a farmer's market here. We pay way too much for produce here.

You really do just need to take time to breathe. Nothing is worth getting yourself upset about. Do what you can when you can and everything else will fall into place, eventually :) Hugs

Just breathe Christy. I know it's hard to do sometimes... trust me I do! But, it's really the only way to survive. And remember... you can only do so much... So it might be time to start saying "no." And no one will think bad of you for it. Take care of you, because you are the only one we've got! Praying for you!!

Aww! :( I'm really sorry to hear last week was so overwhelming for you! I have very much been in that boat prior and can sympathize with how horrible it can make you feel.

Hopefully this upcoming week will treat you 1000% better! If not, just take it one day at a time!

Those veggies are making me hungry, lol. I crave vegetables and that's a great price for them. There's nothing better than fresh, healthy vegetables to put a smile on your face.
