It's true! My sweet new sewing machine is a Bernina 330.

Now for the problem..I haven't truly sewn in almost 9 years.
My real sewing days were like 16 years ago.
I have no idea where to even start!
I'm taking classes at my work on how to use the thing, and another set of classes where we make projects. So I'm not completely lost.
BUT I need help from you! Please leave me comments telling me which sites I must check out. Are there cool tutorial blogs out there? Simple projects to start with? What about cool sewing sites for kids (as they can now use my old machine)? Or just any other tips/tricks/advice you might have..
Please! Help a 'newbie' out!

Omg...I'm in the same boat, except that I've never been that good at sewing lol. I finally have a machine and it's just sitting there :( I'm not sure what sites to use, but let me know if you find any!! :)
Your new sewing machine is beautiful - but, I have no advice at all. Sewing machines scare me. lol!
Not a site to check out but a tip for buying fabric, I find some great prices on etsy for bundles of different fabrics.
I personally LOVE doll clothing since I have a 3-year-old and posted a super easy Liberty Jane pattern that may interest you ... http://www.my3littlekittens.com/2012/04/free-american-girl-liberty-jane-doll-drawstring-dress-pattern-1000-per-day.html .... As for advice, just take it step-by-step and don't feel like you have to be creating a huge masterpiece right away..just enjoy sewing!!!!! Best of luck Christy, I have no doubt you will rock it!

Ha ha I am no help. I have sparkling new machine that is 7 years old. Made receiving blankets for my first and haven't touched it since. When you find out please share, LOL good luck!

That looks like a gorgeous sewing machine! Unfortunately, I can't help you out, as I have no idea how to use mine either! Hopefully, I'll be inspired and motivated to dust mine off by your successes!
