A quick family getaway to @Courtyard_NF - Courtyard Marriott Niagara Falls!

Last month our family decided to kickoff the summer vacation by heading to the newly reno'd Courtyard Marriott in Niagara Falls, Ontario for a little family fun night. Niagara Falls will NEVER get old for us! Living only a couple hours away is such a bonus, as there is ALWAYS something to do or see no matter the season or weather!
For our quick little family fun night, we decided to go on a Friday so that we could catch the Friday night fireworks over the falls. Definitely a summer must-see in Niagara!
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with this hotel.

The lobby is so bright, fresh and inviting, and the front desk staff were quick, helpful, and always smiling and friendly. I love that children were greeted/acknowledged, and not just the guest with the credit card. I loved the courtesy shown in the NF Courtyard, where even the housekeeping staff wore a friendly smile and stopped me to ask how our stay was and if everything was 'just right' with our room. It felt genuine, and left me impressed.

After checking in, we decided to go and takes our stuff up to our room, and relax for a bit before heading down to dinner at The Keg. I loved that we didn't even need to leave the hotel to go to dinner. This is especially fantastic when you pick a RAINY day for your visit!

* Dinner at The Keg was sooo delicious! *

After dinner we decided to head back up to our room so that dinner could settle a bit in our tummies before we headed for some fun in the pool! We had wandered over to the games room first, but it was a bit busy at that time.
We LOVED the décor of the rooms, and the hotel hallways matched the theme too! VERY nice!

So anyways after a bit of R&R, we suited up and were off to the pool!
The mr and I were happy to see that the hot tub was attached to the pool, so the girls could swim right up to talk to us! Gotta say, the hot tub was soooo soothing, and the girls very much enjoyed a good hour/ hour and a half swim!
Just as we were towelling off, we heard a 'booom!' and saw that it wasn't too wet for the fireworks after all! (you can see the fireworks from the pool!) So we quickly took off for our 6th floor room for a better view!
* What a great way to kick off summer vacation! *
After the fireworks, it was time to settle in for the night.
I enjoyed a nice adult beverage from my giftbag while watching the fireplace, the mr settled into bed with his tablet(free Wi-Fi!), and both my girls grabbed their books to snuggle up and read.
Moments later I turn to see this...
At Courtyard_NF even the pull-out couch is EXTREMELY COMFY!
After a VERY good night sleep, it was time to head down to The Keg again, only this time it was for the Courtyard NF Breakfast Buffet! It is an additional charge, but for the convenience, and the amount of food offered it was well worth it, and the serving staff were exceptional! My family loved the live omelette station, but for me I was a sucker for the coffee, frenchtoast sticks and bacon! :)
A BIG thank you to @Courtyard_NF for inviting us to come and visit their newly renovated hotel. It was a fantastic kickoff to the summer vacation!
