#wordlesswednesday - 6 months later...w Linky!

So, I haven't been keeping up with my posts regarding #operationshrinkchristy, mainly because I haven't been working HARD at it...but I have kept at it! Today is the 6 month mark! I have been using myfitnesspal for 183 days straight now. THAT I am proud of. Logging the food is a big step..seeing exactly what you're eating and how the calories add up.
So where am I at 6 months later, admittedly without the help of working out?
 
I have gone from 189 lbs...
(sorry it's tiny)
 
to 171 lbs..
 
 
 I'm down 18 lbs! Woot!
Now if only I could make exercise a habit!!

  2. Hi Christy, slow and steady is the best way. I just started 1 week ago and need to write my first post. I have lost 4 pounds my first week. Are you using a particular program? I am trying Medifast as my brother has lost 105 ponds since January. Good luck on your journey!! Hope to chat again.

      Good luck in your quest! I am trying to stay at 1200 calories per day, LOTS of water, really watch what I eat, make sure the calories are decent ones!! Now to just get MOVING!!

    I am using My Fitness Pal and I have a tough time consistently tracking. Any tips?? May I ask how many calories per day? I am at 1500 and I find it is hard to stick to that w/o feeling deprived. I do exercise too.

  25. You are looking good! Well done! Living in South Africa, we see a lot of people who don't have cars walking long distances and even though they get lots of exercise, they can be overweight. It's diet more than exercise that counts. This makes me feel better, because I also find it hard to exercise. I go for walks regularly, but that's about it. :)
